The Embassy of Poland in India, alongside the Consulate
General in Mumbai, has announced a significant update to the work visa
application process.
Starting from June 26, 2024, applicants must register all
national work visa applications, commonly referred to as D-Type national visas,
through the new e-Konsulat system.
Streamlined Process through e-Konsulat The e-Konsulat system
simplifies and streamlines the visa application procedure. Applicants seeking
employment in Poland will now need to register their work visa applications
exclusively through this online platform.
The e-Konsulat system aims to enhance efficiency, reduce
processing time, and improve user experience for applicants.
Key Changes
1. Mandatory Online Registration: As of June 26,
2024, all applications for Dtype national Visas (work visas) must be registered
electronically through the e-konsulat system. This replaces any previous
methods of application
submission.
2. Appointment Scheduling via Electronic Draw: Once
registered online, appointment slots for submitting the visa application at a
designated Visa Application Centre (VAC) will be assigned through an electronic
draw. This
ensures fairness and eliminates the need for a first-come,
first-served approach.
3. Monthly Draws: On Monday, July 1, 2024, the
Embassy will hold the first electronic draw to allocate appointment slots for
August.
